What I do
How it works
How do you listen cleanly? How do you analyse what the other person is saying? How do you ask a sharp question?
In my workshops you get down to work yourself. We alternate between bits of theory and a lot of practice. Or we jointly investigate a question you've brought with you. Individual attention, targeted feedback, and you leave the room with a head full of new skills, insights, and questions.
Examples
Types of workshops
Philosophical dialogue techniques
Clean listening, analysing the other person's words, asking sharp questions. With these conversation techniques you'll have better, more honest conversations that get to the heart of the matter faster.
Teaching the Socratic way
Slouched, uninterested students in your classroom? Learn how to teach by asking questions instead of explaining, creating students who think for themselves. For teachers, professors, and anyone who wants to pass on knowledge.
Socratic dialogue
When are we doing well? What makes a collaboration successful? In a Socratic dialogue you investigate a question that plagues your organisation or team. I guide you through a structured conversation in which you use a concrete example to search for an answer to a Big Question.
A workshop tailored to you
Like the general idea, but looking for something a bit different? A philosophical brainstorm, perhaps — or Socrates on your work floor? Get in touch with me: together we'll find something that fits your situation!
